Russian and CIS Arbitration Network Launches in Sweden
20 June 2012

Since 2008, nearly 150 parties from CIS countries have brought their international disputes to the SCC, making up approximately 20% of the SCC’s caseload in recent years.  Recognizing these numbers, the Russian and CIS Arbitration Network (”RCAN”) will officially launch in Sweden at a seminar in Stockholm on 12 September 2012.

This interactive seminar will feature arbitrators and practitioners sharing their experiences with SCC and CIS arbitrations.  Speakers include Per Runeland, SJ Berwin, London; Olga Glukhovska, Stockholm University, Stockholm; Julia Popelysheva, Clifford Chance, Moscow; Linn Bergman, SCC, Stockholm; and Johan Sidklev, Setterwalls, Stockholm.  The seminar will be followed by a drinks and networking reception.
The SCC and Setterwalls will co-host this event from 16:00-19:30 at the offices of Setterwalls on the eve of Swedish Arbitration Days. Both the seminar and reception are free of charge.
