Register for Swedish Arbitration Days 2012
15 July 2012

The importance of evidence taking is a commonality at the heart of essentially every arbitration, but how to take evidence remains a challenge for both arbitrators and counsels, in light of cultural diversity, a lack of universally accepted principles, increasing technological possibilities and competing party interests. “The Challenge of Taking Evidence in International Arbitration” is the subject of the Swedish Arbitration Days 2012.

Swedish Arbitration Days 2012 will bring together leading arbitration practitioners from around the world to discuss and debate the issues in taking evidence that the international arbitration community faces today. Speakers include SCC Board Members Jakob Ragnwaldh, Patricia Shaughnessy and Nathalie Voser. The Swedish Arbitration Days 2012 will be held at the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm on 13-14 September.

The Swedish Arbitration Days conference is hosted by the Swedish Arbitration Association (SAA) and takes place in Stockholm on a biannual basis. Previous conferences focused on “Damages and other relief in International Arbitration” and “Public Policy in International Arbitration”.
