The SCC Rules and Swedish Arbitration Act in Czech
25 September 2012

From employment contracts, purchase and distribution agreements to Bilateral Investment Treaties, Czech parties have brought a variety of disputes for resolution under SCC Rules. In an effort to make the SCC Rules and Swedish law more accessible for our international users, the SCC Arbitration Rules, Expedited Rules and the Swedish Arbitration Act (SFS 1999:116) are now available in Czech in our website.

Professor, dr.iur. Alexander J. Belohlavek, dr.h.c. translated the SCC Rules and the Swedish Arbitration Act (SFS1999:116) into Czech.

English is the original drafting language of the SCC Rules, but the Rules have been translated into ten different languages, including Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish and now Czech. Also, the SCC provides unofficial translations of the Swedish Arbitration Act made by practitioners or academics of the arbitration community.
